BRADLEYS

Bradleys is the big-fish venue of 114 acres and contains common and mirror carp to well over 40lbs. It has produced tench to double figures, perch over 4lb, roach to 3lb 14oz and pike into their twenties.

24 hour tickets(noon to noon) cost £30. Day-only 7am to 7pm £15

PIKE LAKE

Predator Lake is most famous for its large pike that reach 31lbs. It also contains good perch, carp and tench but the average size of the pike is the main attraction.

SOUTH CERNEY WATERS

SCAC has a very varied selection of waters for today’s angler.   From the very well stocked day ticket waters of Gillmans (1) and Staits (2) lakes to the more traditional gravel pit lakes of Ham Pool (18), Whitefriars (26) and Dab Chick (63) and Franklins (23).

If lake fishing isn’t your thing then there are miles of the River Thames available, from Hannington and Inglesham to the wider slower upper Thames venue of  Kelmscott as well as the River Ray at Seven Bridges.

  SWINDON ISIS ANGLING CLUB

No. 1 (Open all year)

 

No. 1 Lake is a mature former gravel pit of approximately 6-7 acres in size. The lake has matured naturally over time to produce a picturesque lake, abundant with wildlife. Generally suited to specimen anglers, the lake provides a tranquil setting for a summers evening stalking session or a long bivvy session. Within the lake specimen Crucian Carp and Bream (to over 10lb) can be found amongst the huge head of Tench, and Carp to 30lb.

 

No. 1A (Open all year)

 

Circa 1985, the main No. 1 Lake was divided to create an additional lake of approximately 1 acre in size. Following a long period of little use, this lake now provides fantastic silver fish and small carp fishing for pleasure and match anglers. The lake is suitable for Disabled anglers and is a great lake for people just starting their interest in angling

 

BRISTOL AVON – SUTTON BENGER (Closed from 15th March – 15th June) 

 

The Bristol Avon River at Sutton Benger is the perfect natural fishing venue. With approximately 1.25km of bank the river boasts some of the finest mixed river coarse fishing in the south of England, for pleasure, specimen and match anglers.
